No one has mentioned Judd Trump all week. And he won't be missed when he retires. No man is bigger than snooker and especially the bottler Judd who hasn't the Welsh Open even once.Ronnie the greatest player of all time won it four times and Masters choker Judd has won it just twice to Ronnie winning it 7 times. This has been an excellent snooker tournament without Jack & Judd 👌
Say what u will about Carter but this man deserves massive credit for still playing well, having the passion for the game and keeping that fighting spirit alive, especially after all that shit life threw at him. This man is tough as a coffin nail and I have a lot of respect for him.
The test really is is he going to be a headcase with Ronnie 😀 Am not sold on O'Connor myself yet, a couple goodish tournaments don't make him a man who can actually win, and no doubt the right man won. Congratulation to Ali, and to me this tournament is really his to win, even if he has to tighten his game in the final, both Murphy and Wilson often don't have what it takes to win.
