On November 1, 2010 God wanted Charlie 2 go 2 Heaven. So God took him 2 Heaven. He's pain free, sorrow free suffering free and he's all better and new. "We'll see him again someday when we go 2 Heaven".
I remember Charlie. He was a good anouncer on Wheel Of Fortune. On November 1, 2010 God wanted Charlie 2 go 2 Heaven. So God took him 2 Heaven. Charlie's pain free, sorrow free, suffering free and he's all better and all new. "Charlie uh I'll see U and meet U someday when God calls me 2 Heaven"
Anybody see the episode a week or two ago with the contestant saying he wanted Charlie's job? Sajak bantered about it saying that Charlie wouldn't be too keen on the idea. That definitely got me thinking about how old the guy was though… anybody know how he died?
Charlie was also a radio and TV newscaster. He was with American Bandstand from 1957-1967. He worked with both Dick Clark and Ed McMahon in Philly, and moved to Hollywood in 1963 when Bandstand moved to Hollywood, changing from a 5 day a week show, to a once-a-week show on Saturdays. Charlie was also with KRLA radio in L.A. from 1963-1966, and introduced the Beatles when fellow KRLA DJ Bob Eubanks brought the Beatles to the Hollywood Bowl in '64 and '65.

"People uh we have 2 rejoice that Charlie is in Heaven waiting 4 us and we'll see him again someday when God calls all of us 2 Heaven".
Charlie is waiting 4 us in Heaven. "We'll see U someday in Heaven".

This was so sad, I miss Charlie O'Donnell on Wheel of Fortune, his voice was good but Jim Thornton is doing a well job announcing!
